Dr. Morell began his academic journey by earning a B.A. in Biology from Williams College in Massachusetts. He then went on to attend and graduate from Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico. He completed a Fifth Pathway Pre-Internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by a full Internship at New York Medical College Metropolitan Hospital. He then completed a three-year Neurology Residency at New York University, where he served as Chief Resident at Bellevue Hospital, the Manhattan VA Hospital, and NYU University Hospital. His advanced training also includes a post-graduate Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Since 1994, Dr. Morell has been a cornerstone of neurological and spine care in Southwest Florida, serving patients from Lee, Charlotte, and Collier Counties, as well as from across the country and internationally. His professional expertise encompasses Pain Management, Nutritional Neuroscience, Biomechanics, and Rehabilitative Medicine, with a goal of helping patients restore their optimal level of function and quality of life.

Dr. Morell’s deep commitment to his field has led to numerous interviews and features in nationally distributed publications, reflecting his status as a trusted expert in neurology and spine care.

Dr. Morell was interviewed to share his insights featured in Mastering Cheese, offering commentary based on his book, which explores why cheese makes people happy.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Morell enjoys spending quality time with his family and indulging in his passions for reading, music, and sports.
